How Eggciting...

Liam enjoyed his Easter eggs, a lot!!! He ate them for a long while... today he said he wanted eggs, I told him they were gone... he said he wanted white eggs. I was washing dishes, and all of the sudden I heard the familiar, bang crack crunch of trying to crack an egg! YEP!!! HE had gotten some white eggs (two!) and was trying to open them! UGH! I was able to get to it before the whole thing went on the floor, and he had scrambled eggs for breakfast! That kid...

Silly Boy!!!

I feel a little bit bad always posting things about Liam. The fact that he is at home with me all day every day, does leave me to catch a lot more of his 'cute' moments than that of the other children. Then you add to that the fact that he does do some really fun, cute and funny things... he has a lot of stories. Even when they involve the girls in some way they will frequently say, "You have got to BLOG this!" about some thing or other that he has done!

Presents:Last night Hannah and Marissa started playing a little game with Liam. Hannah was Santa, and she would have Marissa and then Liam sit on her lap and then she'd say, "What do you want for Christmas, Little Boy/girl???" Not having much (any) experience with Santa... it took a little bit for Liam to catch on, but before long he was playing right along. He then took his 'turn' at playing Santa Hannah sat on his lap, and he said, 'what do you want for Christmas?' Hannah, thought, and said, 'a Giraffe'. Liam then got up from the couch, ran into the other room and came back with??? you guessed it! A Giraffe! Too Funny!

Little Animals: He is constantly playing with and lining up little toy animals - his favorite little Dinosaur, Panda Bear, etc... so since he got out the Giraffe, he has been playing with and lining up the Noah's ark little people animals. When the girls came down to get ready for school this morning, they were greeted with a line up of animals on the table. When I got the camera out to take pic's he started one by one, batting them off of the table and making them fall onto the floor..

Hide and Seek:

A week or two ago, Liam was messing around with the bathroom door! I was about to get after him, since he is not supposed to play in or around the bathroom - remember the items he's put into and flushed in the toilet! - We often keep the door locked so he can't get in. So, I was about to get mad/or 'angwy' at him for messing around in the bathroom, when I heard counting!
He had a little rubber ball that he'd been playing with and throwing/bouncing around the house. He had put it into the bathroom, shut the door, and was then 'playing' Hide and Seek with the ball! (not a real difficult game) It was just so cute! He would count to 10, say something about 'ready or not, here I come!' open the door and pick up the ball and say, I FOUND you!!! What a funny little guy! the next thing I know, he has picked up another little toy - at first it was Batman, and he put Batman's face against the door and he would count for Batman to go 'find' the ball! He is just so funny some times!

Doofus!

I wrote a big post today on my other blog about how Liam went from saying Joseph as Jofus, to Goofus, to Doofus! Along with that, Hannah was working with him on saying his actual name. William Joseph, and so now he is WiLEUM Doofus!

What a kid!

Bob

Liam talks all the time now, but he still can't say some things, but he makes up his own word, or we translate what he's trying to say into something completely different perhaps, and some people have ended up with nick names based on what he can say.

Amanda started being Panna -from another little friend she babysits just a little bit older than Liam. So that one was sort of already set, and she is Panna. Rebekah is Bekah for really the first time on a regular basis at home. Hannah is Nannah (a bit confusing sometimes with Panna). Sariah started being RaRa with younger siblings of two different friends of hers, so she is RaRa. Marissa started being called Marissa Roo somehow as a young child, and Liam has picked up on it and she is Roo Roo and sometimes Rooie. he says several of the kids friends names, but his favorite is Bob! Now Bob isn't really named Bob, but when he started saying this friend's name, Caleb - it came out Leb or Lub and that QUICKLY turned into Bob, and now that is just his name! Bob is nearly one of the family. Liam Loves Bob! We think it has something to do with the amount of estrogen at our house, and Bill isn't home during the day, so Bob is his best friend!

Bob lives across the street and has two older brothers. We've nearly adopted Bob, and he is over pretty much every day. His family went on vacation the same week the girls went to camp, then for whatever reason he wasn't really around and Sariah took another week 'off' of school, and even Rebekah started asking where Bob was at? Why wasn't he over here, she hadn't seem him lately.

Shortly after we built Liam's room, Bob was over and Liam took him by the hand and took him upstairs to play! It was so cute! When Bob leaves our house to go home he gets upset, when he hears the knocking on the front door, he runs, yelling Bob! Bob! Bob is very patient and kind to actually play with Liam, and the other day when I was gone (Perhaps last week when I was at one of the births), he climbed up on the couch next to Bob, crawled onto his lap and fell asleep. How cute is that?!?

funny things kids say

The crazy things kids will say! Sometimes it can get you in trouble!

check out my friend Rachel's post about funny things that her kid said!
http://frieddillpickles.blogspot.com/

Marissa has been asking lately how old will she be when Liam is this age or that, and also how old I will be when she is such and such age. Last night she asked me, "how old will I be when you die?" GOOD GRIEF!!!!! that makes a person feel good! not!Embarassing things in church also a favorite. Back a few years ago when we had younger kids, the older one's got the younger one from nursery and they were all sitting in the hallway waiting for the mom's to get finished with R.S. class. My little one who was my first to be fascintated with body parts, started poking her older sister in her just developing chest, and saying "Boobies! Boobies! Boobies!" loudly! Poor older daughter! all the youth from church (the young men especially) were all out in the hallway nearby! She was pretty embarrassed! Another time younger child stood up on the bench in church (at a quiet time) and started singing shake your bootie! Thank you older siblings! for teaching her that one!

Nursing babydolls

This whole blog area is not supposed to only be about Liam, but... he just does such silly little things right now.

So, recently he has been very fascinated with the baby dolls at home, and we have a lot of them! He has started trying to take them in the car with us when we go places and everything!
There is one in particular he seems to like a lot lately. It is a Bitty baby from American Girl. She has eyes that open and close, so he puts her to 'ni, ni' (night night). Last night he took her upstairs and put her in his bed to sleep for night. Hopefully he doesnt' think she should sleep there instead of him from now on since he never went back to his own bed last night. (I had him asleep in his bed around 8 or 9 pm. then he woke up... and was wired until 1 am!)

The other day he was playing with the doll and pointing out the body parts, eyes, nose, ears, etc. Taking it's little hand and waving "bye, bye".Then he climbed up into my lap to snuggle and nurse, but he was still holding onto the doll, and it was sort of between us. He nursed for a little bit, then, sat up, and as I went to cover myself up, he put the baby doll up lifted my shirt and wanted the baby to have milk. He even said "bebe, Mik -m" (not sure why he has added an 'm' at the end of milk, but that's how he says it.)
Now, I've seen children try to nurse their dolly baby's at their own chest, however I have never heard of a child willing to share their 'mik - m' from mom with their dolls.

What a silly little guy!
